SBI associate banks to merge five to


The country's largest bank State Bank of India (SBI), the next one, - Redh years remaining 5 associate banks to merge their plans.

Finance Ministry Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance reported that 12 to 18 months of SBI associate banks to merge all your plans.

Ministry of Finance raised by the Committee's response came in answer to that question that the committee headed by former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha, SBI associate banks to merge wanted to know the government stance.

The information committee chairman Opez Bhatt said the SBI bank balance now only five remain. We in 5 different associations of banks, politicians, etc. have received support and they want these banks to be merged with SBI, it would be better for employees in many ways.

In the past two years two of its associate banks, SBI and State Bank of Saurashtra State Bank of Indore merged. State Bank of Saurashtra merger in August, 2008 was, while State Bank of Indore were merged last year.

After the merger of these banks only his five co Bankaz State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Mysore and State Bank of Hyderabad left.
