By punemsexesena :The Delhi High Court has rejected the bail application of all the five corporate executives in the 2G spectrum scam case. The five corporate executives - Gautam Doshi, Hari Nair, Surendra Pipara of Reliance Anil Dhriubhai Ambani Group, Swan Telecom Director Vinod Goenka and Unitech Wireless (Tamil Nadu) Ltd Managing Director Sanjay Chandra of will continue to be in Tihar Jail.

They can now appeal to the Supreme Court for bail. They have been in custody since April 20.

The five corporate leaders were sent to 14-day judicial custody in the 2G spectrum scam on April 18 by the special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court of Additional Sessions Judge OP Saini.
The CBI had filed the chargesheet against them under the various sections of the IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act relating to forgery, cheating, faking documents, giving and accepting illegal gratification for abuse of official position.
The CBI had charged that former telecom minister A Raja conspired with top bureaucrats, including a retired IAS officer, and corporate leaders to cause a loss of Rs 30,984 crore in the allocation of 2G spectrum.
